I've had to insert a hard return and reduce the size of it in order to make the text appear in the PDF. Perhaps if more people report this issue, then Adobe will be able to advise on what to do or why this is happening. I have just had the same problem. With mine I was missing text after 2 pictures. I tried copying and pasting as a picture, inserting the pictures as png then jpg, the same text was missing when converting to PDF.

Luckily this was only a 20 page document but unfortunately I have a page document with around 80 figures or so to convert in the next week or so. It is going to be very, very painful having to go back through the document and change the text wrapping of them all. I am having this same issue when I convert from Word to Adobe.
